Trail of Two Cities

The Trail of Two Cities is a great example of the value that Gladwin County has for outdoor recreation and the collaboration between the City of Gladwin and the City of Beaverton.

Not pictured on this map is the most recent construction extending the Trail further south from the Ridley Trailhead. The Trail of Two Cities then follows along River Road with a bike lane extended on the shoulder.

Towards Beaverton, the Trail then leaves the shoulder on a paved path at the Buckeye Trailhead. From there, the extended bike lane follows River Road and Croll Road into Beaverton.

This public recreation opportunity would not be possible without the work of the Gladwin County Trails Recreation Authority.
