Gladwin Conservation District is proud to be offering native grass and wildflower seed mixes that satisfy NRCS Program requirements! Michigan native wildflower and grass habitats stop population declines of monarchs, honeybees, pheasants, and other rare grassland birds. Other benefits include enhancing ground cover that promotes clean soil, water and air quality, increasing recreation opportunities for hunting and wildlife viewing, and increasing the abundance of economically important game species such as pheasant, quail, and mallards.
