This event is more than just a race--it's a community celebration centered around the natural resources that define Gladwin County.

By bringing together local residents, outdoor enthusiasts, and visitors from outside the county, we expect the race to:
  • Boost local business and tourism by drawing in participants and spectators from across the state.
  • Highlight Gladwin County investments to our natural resources and beyond such as the Trail of Two Cities, Gladwin City Park Upgrades, Cedar River health, etc.
  • Encourage environmental stewardship by highlighting the importance of protecting our waterways and the opportunities that become available with the presence of active stewardship.
  • Foster community engagement through volunteer involvement and collaboration between local organizations, businesses, and individuals.

We're looking for people who want to be involved! Reach out to us to learn more!
2025 is the 12th Annual Cedar River Cleanup
