Qualified Forest Program

Get a tax break for managing your property! Get a forest management plan, manage your forest, and save up to 16 mils on the property taxes while capping the land's taxable value if ownership changes.  Parcel must at least 20 acres and not your primary residence. Oak Wilt 

Oak wilt is a fungal disease that can quickly kill red oaks. To prevent infection avoid pruning or damaging oak trees from April 15 - July 15 and don't move firewood. I If you own oak trees, you  should know the signs of oak wilt and what to do if you suspect it. Check out the following links for more information.
