Description
Likes sun to partial shade, moist well-drained soil. Prefers cool conditions. Conical shape with narrow crown making it a prized Christmas tree. Needles 3/4” long, dark green, with rounded ends.
Grows in a wide range of soils. Average height 32-82 ft (10-25 m), slow growing and short lived. Roots shallow on poorly drained and moderately deep on more well drained soils.
