We are happy to share that we are taking part in the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) Hand Drawn Poster Contest!

The theme for 2026 is "Soil. Where it all Begins", a celebration of the incredible power of soil to support life in all its forms. This contest is open to all K-12 students!

Gladwin Conservation District awards prizes for 1st & 2nd place. 1st place winners will move onto the state competition.

Poster Contest Rules:
  • The 2026 Stewardship the phrase, "Soil. Where it all Begins," must be included in full on the front side of each poster submission to be eligible for the national contest.
  • Any media may be used, including paint, crayon, colored pencil, charcoal, stickers, paper, or other materials. Mixed media is permitted.
  • Poster must be created by an individual student. While adult assistance is allowed in this category, the entry must reflect the contestant's original creation and may not be traced from photographs or other artists' works.
